Finding It: Character Interview with Jackson and Kelsey & GIVEAWAY

Jen @ Reading Lark: Jackson, it takes you a while to tell Kelsey your first name; why is that?

Jackson: Probably because I haven’t gone by that name in about eight years. My family called me Jackson. My teachers. Everyone back home. Until Kelsey, I preferred being called Hunt. But I don’t know… it feels different when she says it. I like my name coming out of her mouth. *wink*

Jen @ Reading Lark: Kelsey, what was it about Jackson that made you trust him enough to travel with him alone for a week?

Kelsey: It wasn’t ever about trust. Stupid as it sounds… that never entered the picture. It was more than I couldn’t not take him up on his offer. He’s kind of hard to say no to.

Jen @ Reading Lark: Jackson, are there any countries you'd like to visit in the future with Kelsey, or sights you'd like to show her? (We won't tell her!!)

Jackson: I’m kind of partial to Kelsey and beaches. I could go for a repeat of that beach in Cinque Terre, only something private this time. An island to ourselves.

I plan on visiting many places with Kelsey. I want to go to new places that neither of us have seen. I want to take her to the places I know and love—from Berlin to the barbecue joint in my hometown. I want her to be a part of everything I love.

Jen @ Reading Lark: Kelsey, what was your favourite place on your week long adventure with Jackson?

Kelsey: Don’t tell, Jackson, because he’ll make me do it again. But I have to say the bridge in Prague where we went bungee jumping. It was the single most terrifying thing I’ve ever done, but that was also the moment I really started falling for him.

Jen @ Reading Lark: It is a Reading Lark tradition to ask interviewees what their favorite birds are... so which ones would you pick and why?

Kelsey: I’m going to say cockatoo. They’re like the bird equivalent of having incredible hair.

 Jackson: Eagle.

 Kelsey: Bird of prey, huh?

Jackson: I do like the chase. *smiles*

Most girls would kill to spend months traveling around Europe after college graduation with no responsibility, no parents, and no-limit credit cards. Kelsey Summers is no exception. She's having the time of her life . . . or that's what she keeps telling herself. It's a lonely business trying to find out who you are, especially when you're afraid you won't like what you discover. No amount of drinking or dancing can chase away Kelsey's loneliness, but maybe Jackson Hunt can. After a few chance meetings, he convinces her to take a journey of adventure instead of alcohol. With each new city and experience, Kelsey's mind becomes a little clearer and her heart a little less hers. Jackson helps her unravel her own dreams and desires. But the more she learns about herself, the more Kelsey realizes how little she knows about Jackson.
